THE COUNTDOWN to Christmas begins at the start of December when The Stones who are the best Rolling Stone tribute band in the country play a show.
The band bring to the stage all the energy and excitement of a live Rolling Stones concert. This is not a tongue in cheek approach but a serious tribute to one of the biggest rock bands of all time.
The band performed at the 'Rolling Stones Festival' in 2007, this first performance was extraordinary for several reasons, the power of the songs, the way that the lead vocalist slipped into the Mick Jagger role as if he had been born into it, and the way the band immediately grasped the loose but tight feel of The Rolling Stones music.
Saturday December 4th is the date of the show in the Starlight Suite.
