Elvis is well and truly back in the building to raise money for motorbike stunt legend Eddie Kidd.
For one night only on Saturday July 17th, The Greene King Stadium in Hinckley will host An Evening With Elvis.
Chris Burrows will be the star of the show in which the audience heavily participate to turn the venue into something out of the 1960s and 1970s.
Kidd is an English stunt performer best known for his motorcycle jumps.Kidd started his career at the age of fourteen. He has worked as a double in many films notably for Timothy Dalton in The Living Daylights, Roger Moore and Michael Caine in Bullseye!, and Pierce Brosnan in GoldenEye.
One of his most famous motorcycle stunts was in the 1979 film Hanover Street starring Harrison Ford. Doubling for Ford on a motorbike, he jumped a 120 feet (37 m) railway cutting at 90 miles per hour (140 km/h) in Shepton Mallet, Somerset.
In 1993 he jumped over the Great Wall of China on a motorbike. He is the holder of many world records for jumping over cars and buses.
Kidd suffered serious head and pelvic injuries in a stunt bike crash at the Bulldog Bash, held at Long Marston Airfield near Stratford-upon-Avon on 6 August 1996, when a landing went wrong. Doctors later told his parents that he could be in a coma for up to 10 years, but he regained consciousness within six weeks of the accident.
He initially had limited co-ordination and speech and used a wheelchair for several years. Due to his condition, Kidd requires specialist rehabilitation and this gig will help towards his care.
Kidd will be in attendance along with some other celebrities on the night who will be revealed closer to the time.

With the ticket fee going to Eddie Kidd's Fundraising Appeal it is another reason to come on down and be entertained.
And cabaret star Michael George is a special guest on the night adding to the top entertainment on show.
The show starts at 7.30pm and the bar is licensed until 11pm.
