THE GREENE King Stadium complex is enhanced by a superb state of the art 3G (Third Generation) all-weather pitch.
This is available to hire as a whole pitch or a third of the area. Whatever your selection there are goals provided and after the game you can use our showers and changing rooms.
The surface is ideal for private, corporate hire or birthday parties.
A number of football and rugby clubs have used the surface for training sessions.
The pitches use a combination of fake grass blades, sand and rubber crumbs to provide a surface that will perform consistently throughout the year in all conditions.
It is far superior to normal astroturf with no fake grass blades which is easy to slip on, has high abrasions, can become dangerous in icy conditions, and also provides an unnatural bounce and roll of the ball.
In contrast, rubber-crumb turfs provide a superb roll and bounce much like a well-maintained natural pitch and also reduces abrasions. Importantly, studded footwear can be worn on our facilities meaning an ultimate six-a-side experience.
The Greene King Stadium all weather pitches are the perfect venue for your company to stage competitions for your staff, clients or guests. Our facilities include a fully licensed bar and restaurant, superb changing facilites with hot showers – we have everything on site to keep your teams happy!
We will appoint a management team to cover every aspect of the day including fixtures and results area, referees and schedules to ensure that all you have to do is pick your teams and plan your tactics to win! Depending on the number of teams, you can either have a straight round robin, or a World Cup format with groups before a final knockout stage, or just a league on the day!
We have extensive experience in corporate entertaining activities and we are flexible to meet your own specific demands. There are a number of competitive and social business events on the facility, and we are actively seeking new teams for our weekly leagues.
We can organise leagues for your company to compete in, against other local companies, providing FA-affiliated referees as well as providing a fully interactive Internet service to track your progress week-to-week. We can run lunchtime and evening leagues – whatever is appropriate for your business’ needs. We can provide changing rooms and showering facilities and also some food in the bar and restaurant. And as lunchtime leagues are at off-peak hours, we can offer very competitive rates for the pitch hire.
Alternatively, your business could have it’s own league if you have enough teams to fill it! We will organise the fixtures, referees and equipment and all you have to do is enjoy the ultimate six-a-side experience.
